About the Couple: From the Bride: “We met through Clemson study abroad in Oxford, England! We've been together for just over 3 years and it will be 4 years once we're married. Our ideal date night is either a date night at Workman's Friend in Plaza Midwood where we'll get drinks and split fish and chips or a cozy night in with wine and watching a movie and making Hello Fresh or a fun dessert.”

About the Session: We started Lauren and Joeys engagement session at Battery Park in Charleston, South Carolina. It was a beautiful summer day and the light was stunning as it came through the live oak streets. Downtown Charleston gives such diverse opportunities for engagement sessions with the mix of architecture and greenery through out. After walking through downtown Charleston and Rainbow row we headed over to Folly beach for photos at sunset.

Lauren and Joey are such a sweet fit for each other and were so full of joy through out the whole process. This reflected so well in their photos and we are so thankful they have these sweet memories to remember their engagement.

Lauren’s dress for this session was a perfect choice for summer sunset photos on Folly beach! It gave such a carefree feeling as they laughed on the beach together. About the Wedding: We are so excited for their wedding this September at Van Landingham Estate in Charlotte, NC. They have chosen Sarah from Soho events to plan their wedding and we are looking forward to working with her to bring their vision to life!
